About Us
We wrap vehicles, and build brands
At Tradie Wraps, we’re not just sticking vinyl on vans. We’re transforming hard-working vehicles into high-impact mobile billboards for Australia’s sharpest tradies. With 20+ years of hands-on experience in design, print, and install, we know how to make your business stand out every time you hit the road.
What started in 2005 as MotoSign has evolved into something bigger, bolder, and more focused. While we’ve tackled all kinds of signage over the years, one thing’s always been clear: vehicle wraps are our favourite. That’s why we became Tradie Wraps, a name that speaks directly to the Aussie tradie we serve best.
The Tradie Wraps Difference
We’ve taken our passion nationwide. With professional installation available across Australia, getting that “Tradie Wraps look” is easier than ever — whether you’re in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, or anywhere in between.
We are fully focussed on vehicle wraps at Tradie Wraps, and not disctracted by other forms of signage. Being foucssed on soley vehicle wraps means we can have seperate skilled individuals working on their own area of the process. Dedicated designers, dedicated print experts, and dedicated installers, all focussed on their area of expertise and growing their skill and knowledge.
Vehicle wrapping is a specialised skill and should be respected as such. Imagine having your vehicle wrapped by the same person that was digging a hole for a sign post one day, up a cherry picker screwing a sign to a wall the next, and expecting they are going to be skilled at wrapping a vehicle in between. It just does not make sense in an industry that is constantly innovating and changing. That's why at Tradie Wraps we focus on what we are very good at doing - vehicle wraps!
Wrapping Melbourne & Beyond
We’re based in Victoria and wrap vehicles all across Melbourne — including Kilsyth, Bayswater, Lilydale, Boronia, Ringwood, Mitcham, Knox, Scoresby, Nunawading, Blackburn, Vermont, Warrandyte, Doncaster, Rowville, Ferntree Gully, and the Yarra Valley… just to name a few.
No matter where you are in VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, WA, NT, TAS or ACT — we’ve got you covered.

Deep Roots: Where the Wrap Legacy Began
Before Tradie Wraps was even a concept, the seeds of vehicle branding were already in the family.
It was a crisp autumn morning in 1962 when 18-year-old Pearl Adams climbed a ladder, dipped her brush in paint, and hand-lettered her father’s furniture truck. It would be the first — and only — signwriting job she ever did.
Captured by her father Victor on film, this single moment became a time capsule of creativity and foresight. Pearl’s talent was clear, but the era steered her toward a receptionist’s desk instead of a designer’s studio. Still, that photo — brush in hand, logo in progress — tells the story of a family with branding in their blood.
More than 40 years later, that same passion resurfaced through her nephew, Matthew Adams, founder of Tradie Wraps. Using digital tools and high-end materials instead of paint and brushes, Matt and the team have taken that same belief — that a vehicle is a canvas for your brand — and turned it into one of Australia’s most trusted vehicle wrap companies.
What started with one truck in 1962 has grown into 800+ wrapped vehicles per year — each one carrying a message, just like Pearl’s did.
At Tradie Wraps, we honour that legacy by helping today’s tradies turn their vehicles into powerful marketing tools — seen by thousands of road users every single day.
Branding has always been in our family. Now, it’s working for yours.
